Academy Players Feature In U20's Squad

A number of past and present UQ Rugby Academy players have been selected in the initial Australian Under 20 training squad. 

Current UQRA squad member David Burns, along with former UQRA players Ian Prior, Jono Lance and Aaron Chapman have been selected in the squad for Queensland based players.  All players are members of the 2010 UQRFC Premier Grade squad.

The U20's training squad has two sessions in February at Ballymore for Queensland based players before the final selection camps in March and April. 

“It’s a great result for these players to be selected in this initial squad, but I’m sure they realise that there is still a lot of work to be done in order to make that final team”, UQRA Head Coach David Enfantie says.

UQ Rugby Academy wishes these boys all the best in working towards selection for the final squad.

Other UQ Rugby Club players to make the selection include current Reds player Luke Morahan and Reds Academy player Simon Morahan.
